A Love For Jesus

Hi, I’m Alexis.
I am a Bible teacher, theology student, and founder of A Love for Jesus — a community dedicated to helping women grow in their knowledge of God through Scripture and sound doctrine.
Through Bible studies, book clubs, theological resources, and discipleship opportunities, my goal is to make deep theology accessible and practical for everyday believers. I firmly believe that theology belongs to every Christian, because knowing God transforms how we worship, live, pray, and serve.
For many years, I desired more than inspirational devotionals — I wanted to understand what the Bible actually teaches about God, His character, His purposes, and His plan of redemption. That hunger led me into a deeper study of Scripture, systematic theology, church history, and biblical theology. What began as a personal pursuit has grown into a passion for helping other women develop a rich, Christ-centered understanding of God’s Word.
I have been happily married to my husband for over eleven years. As the wife of a pastor, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the beauty of faithful ministry, discipleship, and the local church. Our marriage and shared commitment to Christ have profoundly shaped my understanding of God’s faithfulness and the importance of grounding our lives in His Word.
Professionally, I have spent nearly two decades working in banking, where I have developed a strong foundation in policy, procedures, compliance, and training. That background has shaped my approach to teaching: organized, thorough, and focused on helping others understand complex subjects with clarity and confidence.
When I’m not studying theology, you’ll usually find me reading, participating in Bible studies, creating educational resources, leading discussions in our book club, or encouraging other women in their walk with Christ.
My prayer is that everything shared through this ministry would inspire a deeper love for Jesus, a greater confidence in God’s Word, and a lifelong pursuit of knowing Him.
